It often feels like our heads, necks, and faces bear the brunt of winter as we pedal into frigid wind and stinging snow. We used our cold-weather riding experience to develop new headwear pieces that will keep you comfortably turning the pedals turning this winter. Get out and enjoy a whole new season of riding.
New Cold-Weather Headwear
Flammekaster is the warmest hat in our lineup. Designed for deep-winter conditions, it offers a 300 g low-profile fleece top and Primaloft insulation in the ear-and-neck band to retain body heat. The outside is made of polyester rip-stop fabric to repel wind and moisture. It’s helmet-friendly and features a soft, foldable brim for packability wherever your winter adventures take you. Available in two sizes: SM-MD and LG-XL.
Lavalup is our new deep-winter insulated headband that keeps your head and ears warm without the bulk of a hat. We lined this helmet-friendly piece with a soft, moisture-regulating Merino wool-blend fabric. Primaloft insulation retains your body heat. Ripstop polyester outer fabric blocks cold air and features a stretch panel for close-fitting comfort.
Vindkast is our new reversible neck gaiter. It’s made of a double layer of Merino wool-blend fabric for softness, insulation and moisture wicking. The flat-seam construction won’t rub against your skin, and the long drape offers awesome neck coverage. The asymmetrical top hem allows for easy nose and mouth coverage to keep cold air off your face.
