Drop me in a beautiful, remote corner of the world with some good friends, my hardtail Chumba, and no plan, and you’ll find me smiling from ear to ear. I’m an ultra-endurance adventure bike-packer, runner, writer, and creator driven to explore and build community through bikes and travel. These days, I ride single-speed—a choice that provides a unique perspective on touring and racing in today’s ultra scene. I started racing in 2021 after a snowboarding accident left me with a broken clavicle and a mound of self-doubt. Determined to rebuild my body and push back against the fear of becoming sedentary, I signed up for my first bike race — a triathlon. Later that same year, I completed my first ultra-gravel events. Those early experiences cemented my love for long-distance, unsupported racing and reignited my passion for exploring the world by bike.
FAVORITE, OR MOST NOTABLE, WINTER FAT BIKE ACCOMPLISHMENT OR EXPERIENCE:
Touring across Spain, France, Italy and climbing into the Swiss Alps with my partner sits near the top of my all-time adventures. The tour was packed full of tear-provoking mountain vistas, ripping descents, chilly bivy nights beside glacial lakes, and an unreasonable number of cappuccinos. Having the privilege to share this incredible journey with someone I love dearly was the experience of a lifetime.
