Tyler Pearce and Jeremiah Bishop have been hurling themselves at extraordinarily difficult rides lately — rides that always involve some blend of monster mileage, steep grades, tricky terrain, and unfavorable weather conditions. These efforts are well-documented in their YouTube series, The Impossible Route.

The latest episode of The Impossible Route follows the duo on a winter bike adventure through the West Yellowstone region…in January. It’s a route that gets brutal in the winter, serving up snow, ice, dangerous temperatures, and gale-force winds.
