The All-New Ragnarök Tall Boot
We’re excited to introduce Ragnarök Tall to our lineup as a shoulder-season, mild winter, and commuting boot built for extending your riding season. This all-new boot is designed to keep feet warm and dry through late fall and early spring rides and commutes—rides that, in most climates, are chilly and wet. Ragnarök Tall’s 25ºF+ / -3ºC+ comfort rating also makes it a great winter shoe in places where the temperature hovers around freezing.
Inspired by the award-winning Ragnarök platform, our product team poured countless hours of thought, effort, and testing into the materials and design for this version. The result is a boot that not only works well, but that you’ll want to put on and pedal even when the weather is grim.
Waterproof membrane and 5.75” tall neoprene ankle cuff (3 .5” taller than our standard Ragnarök) for blocking moisture and road grit
BOA fit system and floating three-finger overlap for a perfect fit
Wide boot opening for easy on and off
Rubber outsole with aggressive tread for traction in mud
Ragnarök Tall eliminates the need to obsessively check the weather or mess with shoe covers and intricate sock layering. Just put them on and go ride in comfort.
Ragnarök Tall will be available through your local retailer in November (MSRP $245) in sizes from 36–50 (no size 49).
The Redesigned Wølfgar Extreme Winter Boot
Meet the redesigned Wølfgar, our extreme winter cycling boot. Wølfgar is designed for warmth in temperatures from 10° F (–12° C) to –25° F (–31° C), making it a fixture in the world of winter ultras and expeditions. This year, it’s new from the sole up for better extreme-weather performance and user-friendly function.
We analyzed and updated every aspect of this boot to ensure that you can rely on it in a wide variety of (often unpredictable) riding and walking conditions, from deep snow to frozen lakes.
Here’s a look at Wølfgar’s key features:
Waterproof materials and construction for blocking outside moisture
600 g Primaloft® insulation, aerogel on top of the toe and under the foot, and reflective thermal lining for warmth retention
Removable wool and faux-fur liner for easy drying on multi-day trips
Lightweight three-piece bottom assembly with a stiff, nylon shank in the cleat bed to improve pedaling efficiency and an EVA foam midsole to keep things flexible enough for hike-a-bike
Removable cleat plate for compatibility with both flat pedals and 2-bolt cleats
Rubber outsole with anti-slip microglass lugs for traction on ice
Dual-zone BOA fit system adjusts upper and lower boots separately for a perfect fit
D-ring on the toe allows for use with gaiters
We’d put Wølfgar up against any deep-winter bikepacking journey, ultra-endurance race, or even day ride in extreme climates. Now you can head out for rides all winter long without the fear of frozen toes.
Wølfgar will be available in through your local retailer in November (MSRP $495) in sizes from 36–50 (no size 49).
